Life is short, so enjoy the most of it while u can. I'm a tour operator that always travel to many different places to work... but.. it's always never too long. So ideally, I hope I can retire by 50, perhaps i can stay in different countries so that I can learn more about their origins. But the most important thing is to appreciate where u come from and enjoy what you are doing!

That's it ~ I love getting out there, whether it's a work trip or holiday .. i just wanna be somewhere other than where I am everyday. This is because I'll alwiz bring something back... new memories, new life lessons, new souveniers & new friends...

my journey continues to melbourne, australia... i had too many things to say bout' melbourne, the victorians are unexpectedly friendly to me, no racism so far.. all i knew about the victorians is that, they really really love wine ~ and.... wine & beer is what they did till the end of the day.. the australian wines & champagnes are really one of those good ones.. and definitely, i saw kangaroos, wallabies, koala bears, wombats, the smallest penguin in the world... these are the animals that can only found in australia & some in new zealand. i met them all ~~
besides the high currency conversion at 3.15 (even higher than USD....).... melbourne is really a super duper nice place to explore... well, i never thought that i would love melbourne that much! and now... i return to my home town and i finally discover that LOVE can transfrom us in ways we never could have imagined. just like i never knew melbourne could be that fun! AUSTRALIA, u are already in my travel list !!

this morning, i look at the leaves on the trees surrounding me, the leaves are juz beginning their slow turn towards the autumn yellow, birds have begun their morning calls, and the air is perfumed with the scent of pine & earth, the smell is totally different from my hometown... ooh yeah, this is melbourne !!
on the way to yarra valley, our coach passes through the countryside, it's clean... beautiful... there are houses with big compound + white picket fence with a mini van or SUV big enough to haul their kids to school or off to soccer, i guess... i'm so drown with the stunning views of the wineyard here, it's simply too beautiful ~ the view is spectacular... i've spend a whole day enjoying the beautiful victorian countryside exploring premium wines...

relax as i sample superb regional wines at Dominuque Portet, Domaine Chandon (maker of one of australia's best sparkling wines), sip a glass of wine & enjoy local cheeses on the patio while soaking up views of the beautiful yarra valley....

enjoy the lush ferns & dense forests of the dandenong ranges & the traditional morning tea : devonshire tea. and one of the most exciting part today is riding the restored puffing billy steam train for a memorable journey on australia's most notable narrow gauge railway. the best part of the journey is, u can place your feet outside the train... i've never tried this before. fun fun fun..... !!!!!

a journey with unlimited coastal views around the bay with french island & churchill island in the distance. there's this fantastic experience where u can see penguins up close as they walk up to their homes from the beach. here, i saw the world's smallest penguin on their own natural habitat. but... no photos allowed.... altho' it took a moment for us to wait for the penguins to appear in front of my own eyes, but it's worth waiting!

where u can sheer a sheep, milk a cow, enjoy tractor-trailer ride, see a working sheep dog display, pat the kangaroos, wombats....

upclose with the kangaroos by feeding them, i've never expected kangaroos can be that friendly.... the furs were soft... tails are big & long... i was a little bit of afraid at the beginning, but later on, i began to make friends with them. kangaroos are just toooOooo cute that i ever imagine it could be........

a breathtaking view of melbourne from eureka skydeck 88th floor ~ the whole melbourne city is under my feet !! WooOow ~~~ strongly recommend to challenge "the-edge" experience. Skydeck 88 is the only observation deck in the world that can thrill you with 'The Edge' - a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building - with you in it - suspended almost 300 metres above the ground !! definitely..... my feets are shaking & my heart is beating faster than ever ~~~~~

this is the highlight of melbourne... one of the world's great coastal drives, giant cliffs, lush forest... though the journey is really far & tiring, but is really a breathtaking view. u can walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the sceneries from various viewing platforms. i was truly impressed by the 12 apostles... it's amazing!

ever feel u can't breathe...? juz too much pressure on your time.. too many people wanting u, demanding your attention all at the same time. No wonder we wanna breakfree sometimes! it's true I may need people around me to validate my existense, but sometimes.. i need to be anti-social too. So, I get on a plane for a short journey, pray that no one sits next to me, and if someone does.. i hope like hell they won't talk to me. this is because sometimes i also need my own private shells... I finally begin to understand why everyone prays to upgrade when they fly. we love the idea of flying 1st or buss.class, not becos we're snobs but becos we want more space!! So is juz like... if bathroom & bedrooms are never locked, thr's no sense of where one person ends & another one begins!
I even need a sense of belonging whether it's to my own family, a place of work, among friends.. or... all of these! But within each group, I also need to be allowed a "keep out" sign that's understood & respected... I used to lead my customers in groups & felt so lucky as I can combined both my job & interest together. Well... to me... the idea of travellin' alone sometimes is : great, fun... free & easy... but definitely iphone is a must!!

Well.. there's another 6 months to year 2012 ... but... HEY COME ON !!! another candle on your cake is not gonna kill anyone, cos' I Still Have 1000 Places To See Before I Die ~~~~~

i have visited taiwan that often & i alwiz had blissful memories of these visits! i actually feel the beauty of taiwan...and I LOVE TAIWAN, that's for sure ~ I have told many people how beautiful this country is, how respectful the taiwanese is.... and recommended the country as a travel destination to many people.

when talking bout' taiwan... the first word that come to my mind is "gourmet kingdom" 美食的皇國. taiwan offers a choice of low price to high-end price, with extensive varieties. in taiwan, i delighting in worrying about what to eat everyday, simply bcos there's too many choices !!!!!!!!!!! eventhough i know that i will get fatter by the time i return to malaysia, the delicious Taiwanese food is too tempting! and makes me believe that "it doesn't matter if I gain weight! i will only regret if i don't try the food here! "

i like using the high speed railway (bullet train) & metro (mrt) to travel all over taiwan. when compared with the shinkansen in Japan, the bullet train in taiwan is also very comfortable & the station is beautiful ~ along the way, i can enjoy a wide & varied countryside landscape that conveys a relaxed atmosphere & allows me to discover the various features of taiwan.

this is my first bullet train experience in china.. i was really impressed! the speed of 320km/h.. wow!! i've never had this speed before on a train ~ the interior & stability is kinda cool. cabin crews dressed up profesionally, free mineral waters were served during our journey...

25mins: from beijing to tianjin.. i hope i could have another longer journey next time.

i personally feel that the head of the train can be design a little bit more cyber. it doesn't match with the interior inside.

i never expect the cabin that we are sitting in is just behind the driver! wow... amazing!! i can see him speeding with the train !! 320km..... 同志，小心驾驶啊！！

once again.. i'm back from Japan. ただいま Tadaima ... I'm Home ~ I'm still under the "memories" of my japan journey, even now i still remember every things frm that journey, down to the smallest details. I relieve the journey very often in my mind, because I realise that when I do, I alwiz felt the joy! there are moments when i wish i could roll back the clock! this is my NIHON Journey.. i promise to leave nothing out..

A Walk to remember.. from osaka-Kyoto, from Kyoto-Toyohashi, from Toyohashi-Hamamamtsu, from Hamamatsu-Hakone/Mt Fuji, from Hakone-Tokyo....
the sparks in my heart once again proved that Japan is a master at pulling heartstrings... Japan is really a country that makes me wanna go & go & go & go... again, again & again & again!! Haha ~

osaka most prosperous commercial area, this is the place which collected fashion, food, nightlife, red light district (soemon-cho) + the famous takoyaki street can be found here! the price of this delicious takoyaki is approx. 350yen (RM 13.30) which is filled with 70% octopus, not like those selling in msia, which is 70% flour!

as alwiz.. i want to thank my 2 lovely friends: florence & stefanie ~ i was joyous when i know that they both came along, thank U for the best times we had together throughout the whole journey. i'm truly blessed to have been able to work with u all ~

universal studio, osaka JAPAN

i landed in kansai airport osaka on 01/10 early in the morning... well, it was pretty tired with juz 4 hrs slept on board after the midnight flight. and guess wat?.. i'm going to the Universal Studio Japan right now! it's autumn in october.. but the sun is still big & shiny at 29'C!! i hunted fror Spiderman 4D, JAWS, Jurassic Park, Shrek 4D + the hollywood dreams : ROLLER COASTER with loud speakers installed around my ears with hip-hop music.. i concentrated on the music trying to calm my nerves! WOW... terrific one!! IT'S FUN ~

kyoto as world heritage ~ historical old town, for nearly 1100 years, kyoto was home to emperor, KYOTO also ranks with Athens, Cairo, Beijing as a living museum...

so.. have u ever been in love with an achitecture?... i was in love with Kiyomizu Temple 清水寺.. and the feeling was even more wonderful than i ever imagined it could be, when i saw the temple with my real eyes... it's world heritage architecture is really really beautiful.. no wonder the japanese said : kiyomizu temple is one of the seven wonders ~ founded in 788, predates kyoto & is dedicated to the 11-faced kannon. the temple's main hall (hondo) sits perched over the mountain side on massive wooden pillings..

jishu shrine 地主神社 is a small shrine tucked away behind Kiyomizu Temple that even though very small in area, receives an unusually large number of visitors

Love Stones @ Jishu Shrine ... a pair of rocks set in the ground about 6 metres apart. If you can successfully walk from one stone to the other with your eyes closed you will be lucky in love. Of course, if you don’t succeed you can always buy an Omamuri(protection amulets) that promise to help “for love knot”.

Mount Fuji (富士山) is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 m... is an active volcano that last erupted in 1707–08, Mount Fuji is just west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day.. that was a perfect weather where we managed to drive up to Level 5 of the visitor centre. The temperature is very low at the high altitude, and the cone is often covered by snow for several months of the year..

altho' is autumn in the month of october, but i still didn't see any snow covering mt. fuji....i glanced around... the sky is overcast & grey.. as i moved down the street, i can feel the strong wind. i zip my jacket juz a little. this temperature is cool & i know autumn is juz around the corner. the gray skies give way to the kind of days that make mt. fuji one of the most beautiful places in the world!

this is a great onsen resort at hakone..... what sounds better to go for an onsen (温泉) after a tiring day??.... it's too good!! i personally prefer outdoor onsen bath 露天風呂.. it's sooOoo relax ~ and pls bear in mind u are not allow to wear any clothes during onsen bath. all guests are expected to wash their bodies and rinse themselves thoroughly before entering the hot water. Bathing stations are equipped with stools, faucets, wooden buckets, and toiletries such as soap and shampoo; nearly all onsen also provide removable shower heads for bathing convenience. Entering the onsen while still dirty or with traces of soap on the body is socially unacceptable.

NO.. i was wrong! we carried on the most marvellous conversation ever! Abe met me stefanie & florence at the hotel lobby with his lovely smile that night.. i was joyous & excited meeting a farmville "neighbour" in real, was without a doubt the most interesting experience i'd ever been through. YES, facebook farmville!! his farm was just next to mine!! many of my friends told me, meeting a "stranger" is like making a miracle happen!!.. not only he was a guy that i'd never thought he would meet me tho'...

ooh.. let me introduce him ~ Abe Deyto...

and surprisingly i also met florence's friend mr. umuna from nigeria, running his own business in tokyo. this is the first time i met both Abe & Umuna..

but there was something different in the whole... my feelings for Abe had unfolded. he's no longer a stranger for me now. we are friends!! i began to know him.. he's such a nice & caring guy. we all went to a sake house at shinjuku that night.. tho' the gathering wasn't that long... but it was wonderful in it's own way. and all i can remember about the moments is that when we giggle & laugh out loudly!! i knew the memory would last forever.. Abe said i'm a very remarkable person, and so do u. Abe... our friendship has just begin, and the feeling was even more wonderful than i ever imagine it could be. u are one of the best person i'll probably ever know.

umuna drank 2 big bottles of sake... i'm not sure whether he's drunk or not.. but he really can talk non-stop after his sake. he's funny!

the next morning.. i took a breathe deeply, taking a fresh autumn air.. tho' my journey was almost ended, i smile slightly looking forward to the sky, knowing there's one thing i still haven't tell u guys out there. i now believe, by the way.. MIRACLES can happen!! our friendship will remain...
it is now 2 weeks later... i can still remember everything from that day. i may be busy with my work & life, but the memories of that day still float through my mind. i will never forget my dear friend in tokyo and i've never felt the desire to do so..

my first summer tour this year... Beijing... also known as 京城, the capital city of the People's Republic of China. there was a big difference comparing to the last winter visit to this city (negative [-16'C] freaking cold weather.... ).. ooh.. it was much more lively this time. mainly because it's summer... many shops closes quite late at night, people walking down the streets till late midnight... well, the feeling was terrific & warm. i begin to felt so lucky to live in a 365days all year round summer country! many people told me : "wow.. malaysia!! i was so envy over your country's weather"........ but.... haha ~ i still love winter !! can't forget the snowy snowy romantic sceneries. ahahaha..... human is alwiz not satisfied for what they are having now.......

MACAU ~ still listed as one of my favourite destination. can't remember how many times i've been to macau... but this time, it was something different for me. IT'S MY HOLIDAY!! i had 4 full days enjoying myself .. life was so simple & slow in macau. i put down my footsteps, relax my mind... the journey was mildly perfect, if i wasn't having an upset stomach on the last day of my journey. [damn it!! tks to that 2 delicious siew mai (chinese dumpling) i bought from a small stall, across the street of my hotel...:( ~ my stomach was feeling so upset... i ended up staying in the hotel room the whole day!! it was 16'C perfect weather outside on that day, but i didn't get to enjoy it.... ]

Guia Fortress/Guia Lighthouse(Portuguese: Fortaleza da Guia; Chinese: 東望洋炮台) is a historical military fort, chapel, and lighthouse complex in the St. Lazarus Parish of the former Portuguese colony of Macau, in China. The complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Historic Centre of Macau.
The fort and chapel were constructed between 1622 and 1638, after an unsuccessful attempt by the Netherlands to capture Macau from Portugal. The lighthouse was constructed between 1864 and 1865, the first western style lighthouse in east Asia or on the China coast. The lighthouse stands at 91 meters tall, and has a light visible for some 20 miles in clear weather conditions. The complex was built upon the highest point on Macau, Guia Hill, and named after the same location. Today, the site is a tourist destination. I kinda' love this place so much... so much...

a short day out to HONG KONG ~ 23 marchwe made several stops at mongkok shopping streets & langham place and not forgetting some pretty nice foods... i'm regretting for not getting my favourite fashion brand >> H&M for more. the fitting room queue was too long on that day :(

Englishman, Mr. Andrew Stow opened Lord Stow's Bakery on Coloane Island, Macau in late 1980's. the portuguese tart here is rated as the best in macau!! Really.. sooOoo delicious!!! so soOoo delicious!! One is not enough at all ~ (MOP 7.00/piece)
While egg tarts are available at bakeries all over Macau – especially near Senado Square, but you’ll have to make the trip out to Coloane to taste the original, which macau locals still swear is the best!!!

I love the oriental of the restaurant.. where u can see many local people spending their time with their newspaper & a cup of tea + a few dim sums.... the cantonese just simply love to YAM CHA. all things are self-service here. you will have to go and get your own dim sum. If u have a chance to come to macau, do not miss out this restaurant, many famous TV programme & artist like 蔡澜 had visited here to taste their orientals (as shown frm the photos hung on the wall) And the boss here is really friendly ~

i was told that this shop has more than 50yrs history!! and if u have never been to this shop, it was considered that u have never been to macau!! ooh.... how could i miss it?? and no regrets.. their famous 净鱼皮角 (fish + pork meat wrapped like a dumpling) is really good. the salty soup that served together with the dumplings taste a bit different for me. U can come here for supper anytime as it closes at 1.00am and it's easier to get a table during night time.

this is something exciting in macau recently, with the bubble theatre in the city of dreams macau. the impressive 4d show once again drives me crazy!! the whole theatre is built like a shape of bubble, round big domed roof top, huge projection surface ~ i love the opening of the show with 2 huge tigers roaring, jumping here & there on top of my head (2010 tiger year) ... with the gold coins falling from the roof top... (huat arrrrrrrrr) ~ GREAT!!! and the best part of this show is >> IT'S TOTALLY FREE. Yes, FREE ENTRANCE!!!

Heavy snow hits Beijing on 4 Jan resulting expressways, delay flights and disrupt bus services. 120 outbound flights, including both domestic and international ones, had been delayed at the Beijing Capital International Airport and 86 flights were canceled. Only one of the three runways at the airport remained open.
I was so lucky to escape from the "delays" as we touch down at Beijing Capital airport on 5 Jan early in the morning.. 0630 hours.. as we stepped out from the airport..... FROZEN !!
temperatures touched to as low as negative (-16'C)... it was the lowest over the past 40 years!! well... i had a hard time with the frozen weather there....... i almost couldn't bear with the freezing moments.... all of a sudden, i really miss the sunny days in my own country!!

i'm in korea again.. ANYEONG HASEYO ~ Long time no see !! Korea has alwiz been one of my fav. country esp. their winter, it's an ideal getaway ski fun place.. altho' i do not know much about skiing, but, it's just so fun, eventhough i alwiz fall while learning!! I had a great time with some of my tour members.. i was enjoying myself with the skiing like a little girl at one of the korea's best ski resort : Vivaldi Park Ski Resort ~

many people might dream of leaving their jobs to concentrate on a hobby or pursue dreams owning a company & being their own boss, yet very few actually decide to set out on this action.. looking back, i was one of those people.. once upon a time! but now, i turn my interest into my career ~ thanks to everyone that supported me all this while.. "U" deserves the best on earth!!
this is my last tour in year 2009.. here in seoul, i met my very lovely tour guide Miky Jeong Mi-Gyeong. we had a lot of marvellous experiences during the whole journey. thanks for sharing every bit of your life with me & your gentleness while u talk really touch my heart! you are so sweet. "miky, i miss u so much..." and also not forgetting my funny tour asst : Terry Kim, whom i eventually discovered that we both do not have enough communication, our diff. language could not possibly communicate all that we needed to say.. but u really brought us so much funs & laughters!! *thanks for the special gift, Terry. it means a lot to me*

and there's a real sparkling moment during this trip which is really an unforgettable memory for me! I met one of my fav. actor 张赫 (Jang Hyuk) in seoul museum. the crew was doing a korean drama shooting there. we have been stopped by his asst. for taking a photo, but finally the friendly actor agreed to spare a little time to had a small photo session with us, after knowing we came from a far country > malaysia. i shaked his hand, smiled & said "kamsa hamida"(thank u).. i'm so lucky...!!

this is my very first time to chiangmai/chiangrai : thai most northern part. weather is unexpectedly cold during winter in chiangrai at 14'C, morning & night. it's chilly ~ second time flying on thai airways.. as usual, cabin crew was rather friendly & helpful.
there's nothing much i did in chiangmai this time, i felt a little bit tired & boring instead.. but like some people alwiz said : "when in rome, do as the romans do..."so when i'm in chiangmai, i follow the local leads, slow down & take time to embrace the city's most prized treasure : "nature..." yeah... in chiangmai & chiangrai, is all bout' returning to nature.

after a few days, i discovered i wasn't really enjoying myself, i find things mildly amusing, and i wasn't genuinely happy. i silently screamed to myself, frustated becos i know i was ill.. flu, cough, sore thorat.... i guess, i catch a cold... but as usual, my morning call at 0500 wakes me up again! i woke up as early as the songbird, took a big strech & yawn.. open the windows & air my room. the weather is cooling, fresh ~ after my bfast, i went for a walk & look people in the eye & smile & say hello. the people in chiangmai are also indeed friendly as well..my journey continues to chiangrai - thai most northern area, 3.5 hours drive from chiangmai.

ただいま!! i'm home... still feeling unawake from my fairyland journey... yeah! it's not only a tour, IT'S A JOURNEY!! it's always a dream to explore a place that don't speak the language i know... i have been treated as a real foreigner, a real tourist, a real stranger. ooh yeah...... the feeling was fantastic!! and JAPAN, this is the place that i've been longing for, i brought back a bundle of unforgettable memories.......... !!!

JOURNEY begins with HOKKAIDO.. northernmost island of Japan, rich in its nature, near Russia, has a coastline on the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhtosk & the Pacific Ocean. The largest city in hokkaido is it's capital : sapporo. besides sapporo, my journey also covers hakodate, noboribetsu, otaru & definitely to TOKYO as well.

10mins passes 12.00pm, we touch down at hakodate airport. i can see that it's raining from my last row aisle seat.. i was thinking... it's rather annoying to start a holiday in this way. but as i get closer to the emergency exit window... ooh mine! it's not raining. it's SNOWING!!!!!!! HEAVILY!!!! hakodate snows on our first day of arrival ~ hokkaido welcomes us ~

and as i travelled around these few cities, i'm lucky to meet different people from different backgrounds. they are willing to allow me to understand more about their culture.

... 0230am in the morning, still reluctanted to go for a rest. Just don't feel like ending my night on the bed. life was so relax in hokkaido... all you need to think is NOTHING. it was really a good break for me from everything.
Japan has really friendly citizens & clean environment! is rather shameful for me to reflect on my own country. Altho' the travel expenses is awful & things are rather expensive in Japan, but there are too many things to comfort me..... the snowy sceneries at 2 degrees celcius are really breathtaking....

I've learn so many different japanese cultures here. they don't cut queues, no matter is in a traffic queue, restaurants etc... japanese are so well manner, so helpful...
7 nov : this is the day that i won't forget. we hop into the airport limousine bus at narita airport to tokyo downtown. the last stop for the bus was at shinjuku area. we were the last passengers to get off the bus.. the driver got all our luggages out from the bus, and on situation whereby i was not very sure bout' the hotel location, i ask the driver for help > (where is this shinjuku new city hotel, is it nearby?). The driver was so helpful, quickly get his walkie-talkie to call back to the station, just after 2 mins........ he carried all our luggages into the bus again!! He said, the hotel is near, he can send us there....... free of charge!!! ooh mine....... how lucky am i to meet such a kind person during the journey!
the rest of the days : "irrashai masae" (welcome) flews all over my ears for more than 5 times from the moment i step into any shop ~ "arigatou gozaimashita" (thank u) flews all over my ears for more than 5 times from the moment i bought something from any shop. they bow... and bow... and bow to me to show how much they appreciated the business. how could japanese have such passionate attitude on their jobs?? i have been treated as a "king" rather than more than just a customer!

punctuality : if the time-table stated that the train leaves at 10.00am, make sure u be there by 9.50am. if u reach there at 10.01am... the train is gone!! japanese really show me what is punctuality!!

noboribetsu is also known as the most famous onsen (温泉) town in hokkaido. onsen is a term for hot spring in japanese language & comes in many different types & shapes, including indoor & outdoor, water temp. being 25'c or warmer.. soakers are normally not allowed to wear clothes in the bath.

We flew from Chitose airport to Tokyo's Haneda airport. there are a few ways to reach tokyo city:
* from haneda airport, take a train to shinagawa station (by keikyu line), then from shinagawa to shinjuku station (by yamanote line) OR if u have big luggages, just hop on to their airport limousine buses http://www.limousinebus.co.jp/en/
* from narita airport, u can also easily hop on to the limousine buses. the bus stop at many different stations in tokyo.

well.... this night, i was standing at the Shibuya traffic light junction........ thousands of people crossing the shibuya streets... after a few mins, another thousands of people crossing the shibuya streets again!!
What are "they" doing here?? my mouth opened & closed like a goldfish. my forehead wrinkled in confusion, paused & glanced down at my friends as i stared from one group of people to another one group of people crossing the streets. i was too excited to see one of the busiest traffic light junctions in the world!! SHIBUYA...... u are simply BEAUTIFUL ~

my legs were cramped after a long walk... but as i passes through the streets, i noticed that there were many elderly citizens sleeping under the flyover, along the roadside. my heart was cramped as well. are they homeless? where is their family members? why are they sleeping under the flyover on this freezing night? Their life are like wandering zombies, watching everybody else live theirs, while they waited for them to end...? i don't understand. i was immobile for a few mins.. reliving those every single scences that i saw...
12.00am... as i walk passed tokyo metropolitan building on my right hand side... that was a silent night in shinjuku...

09nov...
tomorrow will be my last day in tokyo... i smiled to myself.. relaxed back in the cafe chair in shinjuku, cooling november day that caused the trees to dance wildly in the wind...

i thought about wat i've learned, who i once was.. and who i had now become. i was a woman who had been given advises from dad & mum that i loved most. i now had a job that i loved and felt confident within myself to reach for what i wanted. i was a woman who made mistakes, who sometimes cried on a monday morning or at night alone in bed.
i was a woman who often became bored with my life & found it hard to get up for work in the morning. i was a woman who looked in the mirror & wondered why i couldn't drag myself to the gym more often? i was a woman who sometimes juz got things wrong!
but on the other hand... i think i was a woman with a million happy memories, who knew wat it was like to experience true life & who was ready to experience more life, more love, more memories!! whether it happened in 10 days, 10 months or 10 years... watever lay ahead.. !!
now that i finally have a chance to come to my DREAM JAPAN, i'm sooOooO happy.. so satisfied!! i juz do not know how to put my excitement in words!!
... i would juz open my heart now & follow where it leds me.. so in the meantime, i would juz live & GO ANYWHERE ELSE that i wanted to go later!!

LANGKAWI ~ is an archipelago that consists 99 islands in the andaman sea, south of thailand, northwestern peninsular msia. the island are a part of msia's kedah state, but are adjacent to the thai border. by far, the largest of the island's is PULAU LANGKAWI (Langkawi is land). tourists flock here for delightful beaches, superb resorts & refreshing nature based activities. the best beaches include pantai cenang, burau bay, pantai kok, pantai pasir tengkorak & pantai datai.

Oriental Village (recommended)

Hop into Langkawi cable car & have an inspiring journey & panoramic views over Langkawi. Taking a cable car to the legendary mountain would probably be one of the best experiences u would ever had. but too bad... the rainy day causes the view today to be a little bit blur & cloudy...

I then travel down to Phnom Penh : the capital city of Cambodia.
Despite the long 06hours long journey on the express bus, there are some brief moments & total peace & enlightment during this trip as well. Life is so simple in cambodia, for 5 days... nothing else matters except getting till the end of the day! I have visited Angkor Wat, but my adventures will not be over......

was formerly a high school & later turned into security office 21 (was entitled S-21) in "democratic kampuchea" & was directed by Pol Pot from 1975-1978. It was designed for detention, inhumanity torture & killed after they had fulfilled on the confession documents. In 1979, government collected all the evidence in S-21 such as : torture instruments, shackles & 14 victim corpses (one of them was female).
according to the research on the record of prisoner list, the influx & out flux from 1975-1978 was 10,519 prisoners. these amounts do not include the number of children killed by khmer rouge, which was estimated 20,000.

choeung ek genocidal centre (the killing field)

is a unique & special place which reflects the most barbarious & cruel crime committed by the Ultra Communist Khmer Rouge Regime during 1975-1979. here, about 20,000 ppl including foreigners were executed & murdered. obviously, 129 mass graves & about 8,000 human skulls at the site bear testimony to this unspeakable crime. in order to r'br the spirits of victims at this site & as well as over 3 millions victims throughout the country, a memorial charnel was built in the centre in 1988....

31st dec 2008 : it's the last day of year 2008 ~ we all landed at HONG KONG, the Pearl of Orient to shout "HAPPY NEW YEAR" to the world !!
i had this memorable new year countdown at hong kong's tsim sha tsui this time. thanks to everyone that came along ~ loong, shah jiin, elvin, kelly, joline, siew mei, jin..... nothing beats the rest ~ FRIENDS FOREVER~
unfortunately, right after this meaningful countdown event, all guys shouted that this was a torture trip for them, mainly bcos all ladies walk n' shop non-stop frm morning till night for the rest of the days!! haha.... what a trip ~

well, last but not least.. we eventually also had some sightseeing places arranged as follow ~
day 01 : check-in to stanford hong kong hotel (strategically located @ mongkok area) ~ shopping around fa yuen street (also known as 波鞋街), sai yeung choi south street, tung choi street (also known as ladies market) + we took mrt from mongkok to tsimShaTsui for new year countdown

The ancient city of Lijiang is found in Dayan Town, a largely Naxi settlement first built during the Southern Song Dynasty 8th centuries ago. The place as a famous ancient UNESCO put Lijiang on a list of the world major cultural heritages. With square Street at the core, the entire city spreads out in all direction, and is crisscrossed by flagged streets, rivers flow through every nook and corner of the city.
Culture is the soul of Lijiang ancient town. Dongba culture is an integral part of Naxi culture, referred to as the ancient culture of the ethnic Naxi. It is called so because it is mostly found in the Dongba religion, which is believed to be 1000 yrs old.
